You were invited to answer a short set of questions. This page explains what to expect. It takes a few minutes to read, and you do not need to read it to take part.
An email arrives telling you who invited you and the name of the session. It contains a button that opens the session for you. You do not need to create an account or sign in. The link is personal to you, so please do not forward it.
Click the button in the email. The first page tells you the session's name. Answer one question at a time; a bar at the top shows how far along you are. Some questions are marked required: you need to answer those to continue. Others you can skip.
Your answers are saved each time you move to the next question. If you close the page, open the same link again and you will continue where you stopped. Your link stays yours for 7 days from the invitation. If it expires before you finish, ask the person who invited you for a new one. After you finish, the same link still shows your completed answers.
On some open questions, after you type an answer, Mayetik may ask one short follow-up to help you give a fuller answer. It is optional: choose Continue as is to move on without answering it. It may ask up to five times on one question, and it only looks at what you typed, never at who you are. If it cannot reach the service, you simply continue.
Some sessions are divided into sections. Before a new section starts, a short screen introduces it. Choose Continue to go on, or go back to the previous question. Depending on your earlier answers, you may not see every section.
Only people authorized to manage the session can see your completed response. Other participants cannot see it. If the session is anonymous, it will say so at the start, and you will not be asked for your name or email. Some sessions also tell you that the overall results may be shared back with the people who took part. That page shows totals and themes, never your individual answers.
When you finish, Mayetik may write you a short knowledge brief: a summary of what you said, in a clear structure. It appears on the final page, usually within a minute of finishing. If it has not appeared after a few minutes, refresh the page, or tell the person who invited you. Not every session includes a brief.
| What you see | What it means |
|---|---|
| "This invitation link is invalid, has expired, or has been revoked" | The link is more than 7 days old or was withdrawn. Ask the person who invited you for a new one. |
| "This session is closed" | The session is no longer accepting responses. |
| "This session has reached its response limit" | Enough people have already responded. |
| A question will not let you continue | It is required. Answer it, or check that your answer is in the right format (for example a number or an email address). |
Contact the person or organization named in your invitation email. They set up the session and can fix problems with it. If the page itself seems broken, use the Feedback button at the bottom right to tell Mayetik; you can attach a screenshot.
